My friend, a successful lawyer, and art collector, Jim Valcarce's office burned yesterday and is still under investigation. Many years ago Jim purchased two high end one-of-a-kind mixed media masks from me.
I'm so sad for Jim and his staff, and everything that was in the building. He had a great collection of work on his walls from many artists. It looked like a gallery when you walked in. Just a few years ago, I categorized all his collections on the walls to make them evenly spread out.
Many blessings to you Jim and keep up the hard work you do for the Yukon-Kuskokwim region. I hope they find the cause.
I could not find the rest of the photos of all the artwork on his office walls. They were a beautiful collection from all the men and women in the region.
