8"x10" Blind Star
A Blind Star by John Oscar
Billions of stars are born and pass through the life of the universe. As Buzz Lightyear said, “to infinity and beyond.” Some stars end with spectacular explosions and whimper into black holes.
There are stars so full of themselves they outshine every other star and become blinded by their own brightness. Proclaiming to have great strength and stable genius.
One claimed to be “the chosen one” and had powers like no others before him. Other stars would join, and he became bigger. More lies gained new stars to join clouded with his immense power. His followers gave their strength so he may outshine other stars who did not want to join.
He thought he would live forever while his mouth only became darker. Words carried power, so heavy were his words, he claimed to be more powerful than any other star.
His incredible weight of dark lies, and deception were so powerful and dense. His greed for attention and power, his lies to absorb all others into his loyalty, in the end, they found themselves in a blackhole of folly.
