This is the first time working with seal intestine as part of the artwork with a tiny drum that actually makes a cute sound with tiny stick or toothpick. You can almost feel the movement the red color flares flowing up, with halibut and seal swiming around the mask and a guinea hen feather blowing from its mouth. Better yet, the mask will watch everyone in all angles. Its eyes follow when you move side to side, and up and down. Try it - it's only a reminder that someone is always watching. Story included.

Drumbeat 3D Art

  • As a child, being up close to the performance was a beautiful and thrilling experience. You could literally feel the drumbeats and the wind created by the dancers fans. Everyone moved in unison to the rhythm of the drum, guided by the conductor’s voice, which led the singers into the next verse. The conductor, holding his dance stick adorned with beautiful figurines, kept perfect rhythm.

I could hear “Apasugaq” Augustine Heavy leading the drumming, singing, and dancing. His strong voice, half-singing and half-talking, rose above everyone, reminiscent of blues or rock and roll. The entire group moved vigorously as one.
