This artwork represents the hunters, gatherers, and fishermen who provide for their family. When they go out into the wilderness they are thinking of family, relatives and those unable to provide for themselves.
The ore, qayaq, and hunting implements are no different today as they serve the same purpose with efficient tools.
The dangers are still there, as they have for thousands of years. They put themselves at risk, as the wilderness is always unpredictable.
